Hi Mac, I loved GRAMPS for a long time but recent issues with the database (I have a very large tree) caused me lots of grief so I've switched to http://www.phpgedview.net/ . It's a bit slower but it allows your family to collaborate with you which I find very helpful.

Really? I found GRAMPS to be painfully slow. I'm using Legacy 6.0 with wine. I was using PAF with wine, but the fonts were bordering on unreadable in parts of the program.
